  • procedure was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

  • laparoscopic left nephrectomy.
  • final diagnosis of
    • xanthogranulomatous pyelonephritis from chronic pyelonephritis.
    • surgical pus sample did not grow any organisms.
  • She resumed work six weeks after her procedure.
