The Year 2003 birthed Creativity for Peace which you have read about and in that year I connected up with a group of Jewish and Arab women called Beyond Words. The workshops took place in my home that I was fighting hard to keep. Having all these women in my home every couple of months for a weekend, kept my sanity through my divorce, helped me pay my bills and most of all opened me up more and more to work on myself, my racism, my self esteem, my empowerment and my relationship with the ?other?. There was one woman who joined the group, Silvia ? an amazing Christian Palestinian women who lives in Nazareth. The moment I set my eyes on her ? I knew we would work together. In 2004 she joined Creativity for Peace and is an asset to us all.
