hi guys
today was not a good day
today we buried Capt Asaf Ramon, son of the late Leftenant Cornal Ilan Ramon (the Astronought)
Asaf was killed in a training accident in the Negev. Accidents happen but since his dad died when the space schuttle coudnt reenter the earths atmosphere he has been in the limelight .
He finished his pilots course with exclence(????????) just like his dad.
Not wanting to be condesending , unlike other countries,when tragedies like this happen in Israel the the whole country mourns.
I think the saddest quote that i heard today was from his mom? dont ask me to be strong? that poor lady. After Ilan was killed she had to give her permission(to sign that it was ok) for Asaf to go into a fighting unit.
