Segmental Defects – Vascular Injury 
15 year old person in MVA.  CT with contrast shows multicentric wedge shaped defects and delayed nephrogram  consistent with arterial injury.  Associated injuries included a fracture of the ipsilateral  transverse process of the vertebral body and and swelling of the ipsilateral psoas muscle
