Vascular Spasm
The angiogram of the intracerebral circulation in the lateral projection shows multi focal areas of spasm (white arrows). The spastic areas are magnified in images c and d. The diagnosis of a vasculitis was suggested. At this time the diagnosis of a paraganglioma was not known. In retrospect it is likely that the contrast induced catecholamine release from the paraganglioma causing arterial spasm. brain artery spasm arterial spasm vasospasm dx hemorrhage artery spasm arterial spasm vasospasm paraganglioma angiography angiogram
