                • To make a full day, go to Granville Island. Aquabus allows bikes.

                • spend few hours, finish by 5 pm as everything closes early.  public market, food stalls and boutiques. The Aquabus ferry operates every 5 minutes from 7:05 am until 8:55 pm. You can buy tickets on the day for $8 CAD roundtrip or $6.50 CAD if you book online, and can take bikes. 
                • Or you can bike along the seawall past Yaletown, Science World, Charleston Park.  Or cycle over Burrard St Bridge and follow bike lane. 
                • Do NOT take Granville St bridge.  if you do ride the rest of the seawall, once around Stanley Park continue past English Bay, Sunset Beach, Yaletown, Science World, Olympic Village and end up at Granville Island.       • Walking around port: shuttle will pick you up at the dock and makes stops at the museums and shops that will run continuously while you are in port. Walk around Fort Seward – informational signs in front of the old buildings. Rent a bicycle or walk. Great route up the hill to Third Street (behind the fort buildings), turn left and continue to Mud Bay Rd, turn right (downhill) until you get to Chilkat inlet. Popular with locals for picnicking, walking dogs, lots of little trails on the water only about a mile from the dock.

    • Three trails: Overlook Trail ? 0.4 miles RT. Easy, 25 minutes RT . To top of civic center
    • Meals Hill/Blueberry Hill. 2.3 mi out and back trail start near docks on Hazelet Avenue across street from Ruth Pond Park. ?Natural area, recreate at your risk?. One hour.. beautiful views Dock Point Trail is a few minute walk away. 0.9 mi out and back, 25 minutes. When you enter, do not go up the hill on the right. Instead, stay to the left for a more moderate incline, and walk down the hill as it is a loop.
    • Homestead trail, follow Egan Drive over the the bridge on Mineral Creek, and turn left on Homestead Road. The trail head will be on the left side of the road.

Walter Ejnes likes Waterfall Creek option.  Pack Creek is the other option-heard bears
further away.
Also: Wild Coast 830-230. 6 hours $1000. They meet you at ship, provides boots and
gear then take you seaplane.  Short flight to the Admiralty Island area which has the
highest concentration of coastal Brown Bears in Alaska.  They land on water and from
the shore 10 minute hike to the waterfall where you sit and watch for hours.  We have
seen the bears both times.
